William S. Adams brings over 25 years of diverse legal experience to The Daspit Law Firm, with a proven track record in complex civil litigation, personal injury, and commercial trucking cases. A graduate of West Virginia University College of Law, where he finished in the top 20% of his class and earned a spot on the Moot Court Honorary Board, William went on to earn his Executive MBA from Quantic School of Business and Technology, specializing in corporate strategy, organizational leadership, and strategic management. Licensed to practice in West Virginia, Pennsylvania, and Texas, he earned a coveted clerkship, early in his career, at the West Virginia Supreme Court of Appeals.

In 2011, William founded Adams Legal Group, PLLC, where he successfully built a respected regional practice while managing all aspects of firm operations, demonstrating both his legal acumen and entrepreneurial leadership.

Throughout his career, William has distinguished himself as both a skilled trial attorney and dedicated mentor to junior lawyers and paralegals. His litigation experience spans the full spectrum of civil matters, including medical malpractice, wrongful death, business litigation, and insurance defense, with extensive trial experience in both state and federal courts. William is also affiliated with the Alliance Defending Freedom as an Allied Attorney.

His commitment to the legal profession extends beyond the courtroom—he has served on the West Virginia Junior College Advisory Board for their Legal Office Assisting Degree Program from 2015 to 2023, and has presented numerous continuing legal education seminars to fellow attorneys on litigation tactics, ethics, and professional responsibility. Known for his strategic approach to complex cases and his ability to mentor litigation teams to exceed performance goals, William combines decades of courtroom experience with modern management principles.

When he's not advocating for his clients, William enjoys pursuing his passion for coffee roasting—he previously owned a coffee-roasting business—along with reading, cooking, and staying active through regular workouts. Most importantly, he cherishes time spent with his family, especially playing with his toddler. William's Christian faith is central to his life and informs his commitment to serving others both in and out of the courtroom.
