Bio

Tyler was born and raised in San Antonio, Texas, where he graduated from Central Catholic High School. Tyler moved to California after high school to attend the University of San Diego, where he graduated from the university’s Honors Program with a degree in International Relations and served as the Associate Editor of the university’s newspaper.

Tyler decided to return home to San Antonio after college to attend St. Mary’s University School of Law. While in law school, Tyler was a Dean’s Research Fellow and a member of The Scholar: St Mary’s Law Review for Race and Social Justice. As a Dean’s Research Fellow, Tyler edited multiple research articles for professors that were published in various law journals around the country.

Tyler grew-up hearing how influential his grandfather was as Jim Hogg County Judge and decided to become an attorney to have a similar influence on his clients. Tyler prides himself on not only having such an influence, but also fighting vigorously to achieve justice for his clients.

When Tyler is not practicing law, he enjoys spending time with his wife and two young sons, walking his dog, and avidly supporting his San Antonio Spurs.
